Booking Conditions
(THE SMALL PRINT)
1.
The promoter hereby confirms and agrees to be
responsible of the fee set out in the schedule of performances and the
artist hereby undertakes to fulfil the said performances.
2.
The artist warrants at the time of signing this
contract, he is not under any contract to any third party that might
preclude him from fulfilling the engagement set forth in the schedule of
performances and that he will not subsequently enter into any such
contract.
3.
The promoter shall provide for the hypnotism
performance 7 chairs (stools or folding chairs not acceptable)
4.
The promoter shall ensure soft drinks for two persons
are provided prior to the performance
5.
Should the engagement be cancelled for any reason
other then National mourning, war, fire, or strikes, the promoter agrees
to pay the artist the full fee as shown on the schedule unless the
promoter notifies the artist, in writing, at least 28 days prior to the
date of performance.
6.
If the artist is unable to perform through illness, he
shall notify the promoter immediately and send medical evidence at the
earliest opportunity
7.
The promoter shall be responsible, if necessary, to
apply for any licence to perform that may be required.
8.
This contract may not be enlarged, modified or altered
except by separate agreement in writing signed by both parties.
9.
The promoter shall supply to the artist with copy of
any advertising material originated by the promoter.
10.
The promoter is informed that the agreed performance
will be copyright of the artist. Any recording of the performance video
or otherwise can be allowed only with the artist’s permission but is the
copyright of the Artist.
11.
The promoter shall ensure the area set aside for the
show is clear from all trip hazards e.g. cables
12.
As the artist carries a lot of heavy equipment, the
promoter shall ensure there is a parking space available for the artist
at the venue.
13.
Miles England’s show wholly depends on audience
participation therefore the promoter should ensure a reasonable audience
size of over 50 people, the artist cannot be held responsible for lack of
audience participation.
14 Any mistakes or objections to this contract should be notified to the
artist immediately. This contract should be signed and returned within 7
days. After that time period the contract will be considered to have been
accepted and all terms and conditions will apply.
